Membership Marketing

 

As a not for profit organization, the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce depends on its membership for the numerous undertakings it commits to on their behalf. Membership recruitment, sales and retention are the key functions of this committee. This committee provides direction on the development of marketing and communication initiatives and aims to help reinforce the Chamber's reputation as a leading Voice of Business in Thunder Bay.

 

This Committee works closely with the Chamber staff and, when needed, liaises withe the other Chamber program and policy committees to provide strategic counsel on the postioning of policy papers, event marketing, and other activities including an annual membership survey.

Who should join this committee? We are looking for business people who work in sales or service, individuals from member companies who are specialists in the fields of public relations, marketing, writing and media relations are encouraged to volunteer on this committee. Individuals who are interested in developing these types of skills are invited to join this committee as well.
